Reviews and Ratings
Staying on the 2nd floor was a huge improvement with a view of the lake and enjoying a wine tour package. The service was friendly, professional, and service-oriented, although there was some noise from Peachfest acts at the boardwalk in front. The location offers easy access to the waterfront and downtown, making it perfect for exploring the area. Dining at the hooded merganser was amazing, but lacked directions to room and hotel amenities. Overall, a mixed experience with some great positives and a few shortcomings.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-appointed with a beautiful view from the 6th floor, but I felt like I could have gotten a similar room for a much lower price at a motel. The location right on the water was great, although the view from my room was of the city/parking lot.
The hotel is ideally located for me, with beautiful walks along the lake and close to the city center. My stay was fantastic overall, but it's important to note that it's not very kid-friendly. The direct view over the lake made our visit extremely pleasant, despite the expensive dining options.
